Notice of Change

Welcome to Valley Bank, Division of Glacier Bank!

Your local branch is soon to be locally owned. Starting July 22, 2024, you’ll benefit from local decision-making and support as a customer of Valley Bank, Division of Glacier Bank. That’s the day the Whitehall branch of Rocky Mountain Bank, a division of HTLF Bank, will officially join the Valley Bank division.

You’ll continue to be served by the same bankers you already know, along with much greater local access and support. Valley Bank's eight other branches are available to you with convenient locations in Helena, Butte, and Anaconda.

Over the weekend of July 19-21, your banking relationship will transfer to Valley Bank. To make this transition as simple as possible, we’ll convert your current account(s) to comparable Valley Bank account(s) and services with new terms and conditions. Here are some of the most important things you need to know about the transition:
  • Online & Mobile Banking: All online and mobile banking services will be unavailable beginning Friday, July 19 at 4:00pm MDT through the weekend. On Monday, July 22, you’ll be able to access online banking at valleybankglacier.com and download the Valley Bank mobile app. Your login details will be provided in a separate mailing.
  • Debit Cards & Checks: You will receive new Valley Bank debit card(s) and checks in the mail. You must activate your new card(s) and begin using your new checks starting on Monday, July 22. Note that your new debit card(s) will not work until activated. Your Rocky Mountain Bank debit card(s) and checks will no longer work beginning Monday, July 22.
  • Routing & Account Number(s): Your routing number will change to 092001512 after Friday, July 19. The Rocky Mountain Bank routing number should not be
used after Friday, July 19. Your deposit and loan account numbers will remain the same unless notified otherwise.
We’re ready to answer any questions you may have about the transition. Please give us a call at 406.495.2400 or stop by the Helena branch.

We’re excited to welcome you to Valley Bank. We greatly appreciate your business and are committed to ensuring your transition is as smooth as possible.
